πΊπΈ LA Brunch Tour | A Visual & Tasty Guide to Westside Brunch Spots!
Hereβs my real talk roundup of brunch spots across the Westside β from pretty pancakes to total letdowns: π½οΈ Ysabel πππβ Super popular and gorgeous β but flavor-wise, just okay. Pancakes were the star: light, fluffy, not too sweet with vanilla cream π₯ Steak was decent but a bit tough Salmon was way too salty π§ Avocado Toast was basic π΅ ~$70 | π Book via OpenTable β it gets packed! π½οΈ Great White πππππ A total fave! Great looks, great taste. Hotcakes & smoothies = top tier Coffee is delicious Watch out: the breakie includes goat cheese π (skip if thatβs not your thing) π΅ ~$40 π½οΈ Bottega Louie πππππ My #1 brunch in LA! Benedict = incredible Waffles > French Toast (FT was dense + heavy on cinnamon) Portobello Fries with truffle sauce = a must! π Napoleon = flawless Skip the berry eclair β way too tart π π΅ ~$60 π½οΈ RΓ©publique ππππ An LA classic for a reason. French Toast = surprisingly soft and amazing Basque Cheesecake = rich and satisfying Kimchi Fried Rice was a bit oily + sour Bread in Shakshuka was too hard π΅ ~$50 π½οΈ Bianca πππ A cute Italian spot near Platform. Brunch ends at 11 AM β plan early! Burrata = heavenly π§ Desserts (tiramisu, crΓ¨me brΓ»lΓ©e) = excellent Pasta & gnocchi looked great Watch for double-priced desserts on the bill π¬ π΅ ~$60 π½οΈ Urth Coffee π£π£ A major letdown. Everything was overly sweet β even the Spanish latte Avocado Toast tasted bland on stale-like bread Tiramisu = sugar bomb Not sure why itβs so hyped β my whole friend group agrees π #LABrunch #BrunchReview #Ysabel #GreatWhite #BottegaLouie #Republique #Bianca #UrthCoffee
