🇺🇸 Miami | Top 5 Must-Visit Attractions

📍 From November 20–23, 2024, I spent 4 days exploring Miami! Earlier posts covered how to get from FLL to MIA airport for just $3.75 via Tri-Rail 🚆, how to explore Miami without a rental car 🚍, and Miami’s top 5 public transport-friendly attractions. This one’s all about how to get to Key West — the southernmost point of the U.S. — affordably and easily by bus! Save this for your trip! 💾 1️⃣ How to get there? Book via Trip Advisor — $49 per person for a double-decker bus. Recommend booking early, especially in peak season! ❄️ The AC is strong and it’s windy by the coast — bring a warm jacket! 🧥 2️⃣ How much? $49 per person — the best deal I found! Especially great value for international travelers. 😉 3️⃣ Duration? Departs at 7:00 AM from two pickup points downtown (we got on opposite the Ferris wheel near the Hilton). ⏳ 4 hours one way. You get 6 hours to explore Key West. Return bus at 5:25 PM → back in Miami by 9:00 PM. 📍 A 15-hour day — be prepared! 💤 🍔 There’s a stop at McDonald’s around 9 AM for breakfast. 4️⃣ What to do? The guide on the bus explains the sights and offers optional add-ons like snorkeling or hop-on-hop-off bus tours. 🗺️ You’ll get a map — the main street is easy to walk! 📸 Must-dos: Key West Sign (25-min wait, 1-min photo — everyone’ polite and quick!) Hemingway Home ($18 entry) + Sloppy Joe’s Bar 🍻 Mile 0 Sign 🛣️ Key West Lighthouse 🏛️ 5️⃣ Food? Lots of seafood restaurants by the shore. We ended up at a Thai sushi spot — pad thai, noodles, salmon sushi — decent meal for $80+. 💡 Tipping? Yes — the guide will mention it’s part of their income. We gave $10. In the U.S., tipping is customary. #TravelInspo #HiddenTravelGems #Miami #MiamiTravel #MiamiGuide #KeyWest #TravelUSA
