This was one of the donut shops I was super excited to visit before going to Miami: The Salty Donut. I was totally drawn in by its aesthetic appeal 🤩—every single variety looks absolutely gorgeous! (I think they have locations in other places too, but definitely not in Philadelphia.) Here are some genuine thoughts: In terms of looks, they truly look exactly like the photos—every design made my heart race 😍. If it were possible, I would have bought them all, but there was no way I could eat that many! The biggest surprise was finding a tiramisu flavor among the options. Taste-wise, they are indeed quite sweet—but hey, they’re donuts, and we’re in America! With all that glaze and frosting, it’s pretty much impossible for them not to be sugary 🍬. My recommendation: grab one, pair it with coffee ☕, or share with a friend so you can try more flavors. Their selections are pretty unique, so if you have decision anxiety, good luck choosing just one or two! 😅 Price-wise, their donuts are around $4 each—not crazy expensive, but definitely not cheap either. For Miami, I’d say it’s acceptable. Overall, if you’re passing by and want something cute for photos 📸, I’d say it’s worth stopping by. The taste isn’t bad (though if you’re not into super sweet stuff, maybe skip it).
