Cross-Country USA Road Trip 🚗 Day 8 After eating burgers and fries for days, we finally enjoyed a proper fine dining experience! 🎉 Desert Bistro offers upscale American cuisine 🍽️—highly recommend making a reservation in advance! Based on recommendations we found online, my travel buddy and I decided to be adventurous and try this place. Personally, I thought the complimentary bread was the highlight of the meal! 😋 Maybe it’s because we ordered all daily specials and didn’t stick to the regular menu—but this is just my opinion (as a girl with Northern Chinese taste buds, I’m not used to overly sweet sauces, though my friend absolutely loved everything!). Here’s a quick list of what we ordered: • Pork Sausage with Polenta 💰15 • Caesar Salad 💰11 • Bison Steak 💰65 • Chilean Sea Bass 💰50 With drinks 🍸 and tip, the total for two came to 💰215.
