💛 Recently tried a sandwich spot recommended by a friend—super affordable and huge portions! It’s hidden inside a small convenience store’s deli section, so there’s no seating inside, just one table and two chairs outside. Most people order takeout. 💧The three of us each ordered a half sandwich: 🥪 Reuben Sandwich – Sauerkraut, pastrami, and spicy mayo. A bit heavy by the end, but still delicious! (Hot sandwich) 🥪 Italian Combo – Italian meatballs in red sauce. As a meatball and marinara lover, this was amazing! (Hot sandwich). ✅ Navy Special – Just okay. (Cold sandwich) 🍝Even a half sandwich was massive—my friends couldn’t finish theirs. With tax, it came to around $14 for a half, which feels like a steal for Monterey prices 🥹. 🌟 Highly recommend their hot sandwiches like the Reuben, Italian Sausage, Italian Meatball, and Italian Combo. The cold sandwiches didn’t quite match our taste. 😋 You can also customize your order—choose your cheese, bread, and veggies.
