🇺🇸 Must-Visit Destination! The Ultimate Guide to Santa Fe

Our second stop in New Mexico during this West Coast road trip was Santa Fe—a vibrant, artsy town perfect for a 1-2 day visit. Here’s how to make the most of it! ⚠️ Thanksgiving/winter in Santa Fe is chilly with occasional light snow, but it adds a magical touch! ❄️ Perfect for a Christmas getaway too. The air is dry, but the town has plenty of cozy restaurants and accommodations. Plus, the surrounding nature and culture are stunning—more on that later! ✈️🚗 How to Get Here: We flew into Albuquerque from California and Texas, then rented a car for the scenic drive to Santa Fe. 🏠 Unique Adobe Architecture: Santa Fe is famous for its Pueblo-style adobe homes—historic structures made of compressed grass, clay, and sand with flat roofs, rounded edges, andearthy tones (yellow, cream, pink) adorned with wooden beams. 📸 Must-See Spots: Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi: Romanesque architecture with beautiful stained glass rose windows. Santa Fe Plaza: The heart of the old town—ideal for city walks, art galleries, and adobe buildings. New Mexico Museum of Art: A classic adobe-style museum. Contemporary Native Arts: Colorful pillars perfect for photos! Inn & Spa at Loretto: Postcard-worthy hotel. La Fonda: A Pueblo-style mall with shops and restaurants. New Mexico State Capitol: Don’t miss the state emblem! Loretto Chapel: Gothic-style with a legendary spiral staircase. San Miguel Chapel: One of the oldest churches in the US. Canyon Road: A street lined with galleries and iconic adobe buildings. Georgia O’Keeffe Museum: Where Jane took Jesse in Breaking Bad! Remember their conversation about art? 😏Meow Wolf: An immersive, interactive art experience—wild colors and creativity!👜 Shopping:Santa Fe Place Mall🍤 Food & Drinks:La Boca (Spanishtapas)Alicia's Tortilleria (authentic Mexican)Dolina Bakery (perfect for breakfast!) #SantaFe #NewMexico #TravelGuide #ArtLovers #WinterGetaway #RoadTrip #USA #HiddenGems #AdobeArchitecture #BreakingBad #HolidayVibes #Citywalk
