🇺🇸 New Mexico | El Pinto 🌶️

Day 1 in New Mexico! Flew into Albuquerque exhausted but ended up at this amazing restaurant for some spicy grilled ribs—totally worth it! Since we weren’t too hungry after a big lunch at another Mexican spot, five of us shared just two dishes 😆 Red Chile Ribs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Saw online that these are ranked the 3rd best ribs in the U.S.—not sure how that’s measured, but they’re absolutely incredible! Super fragrant with a mild kick of heat from the red chile coating. The meat falls off the bone, and we stuffed it into warm tortillas for the perfect bite. 🤤🌮 Green Chile Stew ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 This soup was also a winner! Made with roasted green chiles, chicken, and potatoes—savory with a subtle sweetness. Paired perfectly with the spicy ribs. 🍲🔥 We skipped the fried chiles to avoid greasy food, but no regrets! With five people, it came to just $10 per person—New Mexico prices are unreal! 🙌 The complimentary chips were warm, crispy, and generously served (almost a meal on their own!). Pro tip: This place is huge with dedicated parking, but reservations are recommended. Luckily, it wasn’t too crowded when we went! 📍 10500 4th St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114 #WeekendVibes #TravelNewMexico #FoodieFind #AlbuquerqueEats #NewMexicoFood #BreakingBad #BetterCallSaul #EatDrinkExplore #USATravel #FoodRecs
