🇺🇸 NYC|Where Bold Flavors Meet Chef's Bold Temper 🍽️

Visited Luthun again and finally witnessed the chef’s fiery side — strict but the food still shines! This season’s menu feels even more layered and globally inspired. 🥠 Fushka An Indian chaat sphere filled with matcha salsa, pumpkin Aguachile — paired with a spiced "pumpkin latte," warm and comforting. 🐟 Sea Bass Crudo Tender bass with avocado, chili, herbs, and crunchy root veggies — bright and tangy. 🧅 French Onion Tartlet Sweet onion, rich Wagyu, caramelized maitake, and black truffle — finished with lemon zest for balance. 🦪 Razor Clams With pickled persimmon, white butter sauce, and bone marrow — rich yet refreshing. A favorite! 🐟 Roasted Trout Buttery fish with black truffle and salsify cream (tastes oyster-like!). Pear and yuzu pepper add spark. 🐠 Monkfish Crispy outside, tender inside in a Thai-inspired sweet potato tom yum sauce. Pineapple and foie gras hollandaise elevate it — another top dish! 🥩 Wagyu Steak Solid but not standout. Caramelized hazelnut sauce and sweet carrots stood out. 🍮 Dessert Cold yogurt crumble over warm quince pudding with cardamom, passionfruit, and ube — a cozy finish. Despite chef’s occasional outbursts 😅, the team remains warm and guests are treated well.
