🇺🇸 Orlando Food – How Are These Places Not SUPER Popular Yet?
I’ve got a real talent for finding good food – and these spots are all absolutely delicious! Here’s my roundup: 🌙 Coco Thai ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lots of love on Google + super close to my hotel = had to try! Unexpectedly had the BEST salad I’ve ever eaten in Orlando 🥗 Their Thai sweet chili sauce is amazing!! I got the Duck Salad – the roasted duck was so juicy and crispy 😭👌 Also tried the Pad Kra Pao (minced pork) and Stir-Fried Rice Noodles – the wok hei was insane!! 🤤 Pro tip: Ask for the Pad Kra Pao with less sauce – otherwise it’s loaded with minced ginger. 🌙 Texas Roadhouse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The free freshly baked rolls with cinnamon butter are LEGENDARY 🧈🍞 Haven’t had it since moving to NY – had to revisit for nostalgia! Their ribeye + ribs combo is 🔥 Best sides: sweet potato + corn 🌽🍠 Calorie bomb? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. 🌙 Isan Zaap Thai Cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Their Pad Kra Pao is pretty authentic 🌶️ The Tom Kha soup was a surprise highlight – I had three bowls! 🍲❄️ (It was freezing in Orlando!) Skip the cucumber salad 🥒 – it came with raw crab legs and was way too fishy 🦀😵 🌙 Lao Wang Next Door ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Went here twice – first in 2022, and again this trip! You can literally order anything – it’s all good 😋 Their grilled lamb kidneys are a MUST – not gamey, not soft, just perfect 👌💯 🌙 Morimoto Asia Went to the Disney Springs location 🏰 It’s basically upscale American Chinese – but tasty! Shumai: delicious (but skip the sauce) Berkshire Pork Lettuce Wraps: so good, a bit salty but wrapped in lettuce it’s perfect 🥬 Ribs: fried and saucy – flavourful but salty Buri-Bop: their signature stone bowl with fish + rice 🐟🍚 Pro tip: Pour ALL the sauce in or it’ll be too bland!
