🇺🇸 Philadelphia | One-Day Citywalk Route

Philadelphia’s downtown is compact enough to cover all major attractions in one day on foot. I’ve designed a no-backtracking walking route that you can copy directly – including must-try foods! 😋 🗺️ Recommended Route (All Walkable!): 1️⃣ City Hall 🏛️ Construction began in 1871 and took 30 years to complete. It’s the largest, tallest, and most expensive municipal building in the U.S. 2️⃣ Independence Hall | Featured on the $100 bill 💵 Where the Declaration of Independence was drafted. You can book tickets in advance or purchase on-site. 3️⃣ Liberty Bell 🔔 This famous bell weighs over 900 kg and is displayed in a free exhibition pavilion. 4️⃣ Benjamin Franklin Statue | Also on the $100 bill We had to ask locals to find this! Navigate to: Philadelphia Fire Department | Engine 8 Ladder 2 (It’s right next to this fire station). 5️⃣ Betsy Ross House | Home of the craftswoman who created the first American flag 🇺🇸 The oldest gift shop here is perfect for souvenirs and fridge magnets! 6️⃣ The Franklin Fountain 🍦 A classic ice cream parlor – expect a short line but it’s worth it! I’ve attached a menu so you can pick your flavor. 7️⃣ Elfreth’s Alley The oldest continuously inhabited street in the U.S. – great to visit while enjoying your ice cream. 8️⃣ Chinatown 🥢 Lots of Chinese restaurants – check reviews on Yelp or Dianping. We tried a phở place and loved it! 🍔 Don’t Miss: Philadelphia’s famous cheesesteak! We went to a famous spot inside Reading Terminal Market – highly recommend! That’s everything you need for a fun-filled day in Philly! Follow this route and enjoy making great memories 🥳 #Philly #Philadelphia #DayTrip #USATravel #EastCoast #NYCgetaway #IndependenceHall #Citywalk #TravelGuide
