A perfect day trip from New York to Philadelphia! Easy travel, smart route planning, tasty food stops… Here’s your practical, tried-and-tested guide! 🤩 🚌 Transportation 🔸 Round-trip by bus – much cheaper than train! Only $55 round-trip per person. 🔸 Comfortable 1.5-hour ride – clean and quiet, I slept most of the way 😴💺. 🔸 Departed 8:15 AM → returned 6:45 PM – perfect timing for a day of exploring! 🔸 Book tickets via Greyhound/FlixBus apps. Station details are in the pics – locate via Google Maps 📍. 🔸 We mostly walked around Philly – attractions are close together with plenty to see and eat along the way. Public transit (bus/subway) is also easy if tired. 🗺️ Route (🔸 Attractions ♦️ Food) Bus Drop-off (arrive ~10 AM) (15-min walk) 🔸 Independence Hall / Liberty Bell (1 hour) ♦️ Sonny’s Famous Steaks ♦️ The Franklin Fountain (20-min walk) 🔸 City Hall / Love Park (30 mins) (5-min walk) ♦️ Hershel’s East Side Deli (30-min walk) 🔸 Philadelphia Museum of Art (2-3 hours) (30-min walk) 🔸 UPenn (1-2 hours) (15-min walk + subway) 🔸 Chinatown ♦️ Jin Wei (must-try!)
