🇺🇸 Philadelphia Food|This Spanish Restaurant Is SO GOOD
It fits my taste perfectly — if you love tangy, zesty flavors, you have to try this place! 📍 1709 E Passyunk Ave, Philadelphia My boyfriend and I both left feeling genuinely happy and satisfied. It might be an exaggeration, but this was the most satisfying meal I’ve had since moving to Philly a month ago — Philly no longer feels like a food desert to me 😭❤️ 💜 Eggplant Caponata – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sweet and sour eggplant with bell peppers and onions 🧅. Our server mentioned it’s served cold — super appetizing! Each bite is wonderfully tangy, and the eggplant is marinated to perfection. My boyfriend couldn’t stop praising it. ❤️ Wild Mushrooms A La Plancha – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A mix of wild mushrooms — I’m a huge mushroom lover, and this dish blew me away. Simply seasoned with olive oil and pepper, letting the mushrooms’ natural sweetness shine, plus a tangy vinegar finish. So good! 🧡 Truffled Bikini – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Black truffle sandwich — I loved it, though my boyfriend found it too greasy. The ham inside is rich, and the sandwich is toasted crisp. That tangy sauce on top cuts through the richness perfectly. 💚 PEI Mussels – ⭐⭐⭐ Tangy steamed mussels — tasty, but the sauce overshadows the mussels’ natural sweetness. Not as memorable as the other dishes. 💙 Seafood Paella (half order) – ⭐⭐⭐ Enough for two. A bit salty and fishy by the end — decent but not a standout. Overall: Tapas here are creative, flavorful, and very fairly priced! We ordered all this plus a cocktail, and with tip it came to around $90 — totally worth it for how happy and full we felt. I’ll definitely be back ❤️❤️❤️ #StudyAbroadLife #PhillyEats #SpanishFood #LifeInTheUS #PhillyFoodie #TapasLove 🥘
