🇺🇸 Philadelphia Food Guide 🍜

I’ve had the chance to try many amazing restaurants across Philly — from Sichuan cuisine and sukiyaki to Thai food, Hong Kong-style cafes, fried chicken, and more. Here are some of my favorites: 🌶️ EMEI Sichuan Cuisine A truly authentic Sichuan restaurant! Dishes like Boiled Beef, Spicy Chicken, and Mao Xue Wang are full of flavor — perfectly balanced spice and generous portions. Highly recommended for Sichuan food lovers! 🥟 Ninja Bao This spot focuses on Japanese ramen and soup dumplings. Great value, and I’m personally obsessed with their broccoli with special sauce — so fragrant and tasty! 🍤 Dim Sum House A diverse menu offering everything from dim sum to spicy Sichuan-inspired dishes. My favorite? The dry pot chicken (bottom right in P4) — absolutely delicious! 🇹🇭 JJ Thai Who doesn’t love Thai food? This place offers great value. I highly recommend the Red Curry Beef — perfect with rice! Their pad Thai is also flavorful and satisfying. 🍜 Sang Kee Noodle House Located near campus, it’s basically a UPenn canteen! A reliable Hong Kong-style cafe with something for everyone. 🍱 Gyūmaku Japanese Sukiyaki An all-you-can-eat sukiyaki spot with a slightly sweet broth. The beef is tender, and it’s fantastic with udon noodles! 🍗 CM Chicken When it comes to fried chicken, I prefer Korean-style over American — and CM Chicken does it right! 🍜 Terakawa Ramen Specializing in rich, creamy tonkotsu ramen. The chashu is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the soft-boiled egg is cooked perfectly. #MyFoodDiary #FoodieRecords #InternationalStudentEats #PhillyEats #PhillyLife #PhillyArea #PhillyFoodGuide #UPennEats #UPennLife
