🇺🇸 Rochester｜A One-Day Trip Guide with No Regrets 💓 🖇️ Dora's Travel Ramblings 📝 - 📍 Warner Castle 🏰 5 Castle Park, Rochester, NY 14620 A family castle built in 1854! The castle isn’t large—you can explore it in about 15 minutes. Behind it, there’s a sunken garden perfect for photos. While walking around, you might spot adorable little animals like groundhogs, wild rabbits, and squirrels popping out 🐿️🐇. It’s lovely to visit on a nice day 💒. Note: The castle is only open for visits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. It’s closed other days, so plan accordingly! 🥰 📍 Ontario Beach Park 50 Beach Ave, Rochester, NY 14612 An incredibly beautiful lakeside park located on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario. Highly recommend going at sunset—the sky turns completely pink, and the lake water is clear and shimmering 🌅. The lake is huge and stretches far. Walking barefoot on the sandy beach feels amazing! It’s not too crowded and has a super chill vibe. 🖇️ Dora's Rochester Food Diary 📝 📍 White Swans 798 S Clinton Ave, Rochester, NY 14620 A famous dim sum spot in Rochester! It’s order-style dining. Highly recommend the Dry-Fried Beef Chow Fun—the beef chunks are huge and the flavor is rich and fragrant 🥰. The Taro Puffs were a surprise—they’re savory! We had them fresh out of the oven: crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside with shrimp filling—a unique experience! The Fried Shrimp Balls were also great—huge with firm, fresh-tasting shrimp. We originally came for the Salted Egg Yolk Buns, but those were a bit disappointing. 📍 Pittsford Farms Dairy 733 Park Ave, Rochester, NY 14607 A must-try ice cream in Rochester! 🍦 Not too sweet at all. The ice cream is made using milk from the Pittsford Dairy Farm, which dates back to 1814—so much history! 👍 Lots of flavors to choose from. We got a double-scoop waffle cone with Strawberry Cheesecake and Coconut Chocolate. Highly recommend the Strawberry Cheesecake—it actually has chunks of real cheesecake inside! 🍓🧀 So good!
