đşđ¸ Salt Lake Cityď˝Hot Sand Brewed Turkish Coffee House âď¸â¨
Iâve previously written a food and drink guide for Salt Lake City, but this coffee house deserves its own feature because itâs truly special. đ Kahve Cafe SLC A charming Turkish coffee shop with three floors. I visited on a weekendâcold and rainyâbut despite the weather, the place was packed with a long line. Everyone braved the wind and rain just for coffee, showing how popular it is! After waiting about 30 minutes, I ordered Turkish coffee, Moon Milk (blue version), and Keskul (rice pudding). The coffee was the standoutâthe Moon Milk looked dreamy but tasted like spiced almond milk. The rice pudding was a bit too sweet for me. âď¸ For Turkish coffee, remember to order a single shotâitâs only around $3 and comes in a beautiful small cup. The double shot comes in a less appealing large plastic cup. The coffee is brewed on-site using hot sand, which is oddly satisfying to watch! The staff are super friendlyâthey chat with you while brewing and ask if youâd like sugar or spices. I added saffron sugar and a bit of ginger (free!). Having been to Turkey, I can confirm the authenticity of the flavor. We chose a spot on the first floor to relax and read. Suddenly, heavy snow began falling outsideâsitting on a cozy rug while watching the snowfall was pure bliss. âď¸đ #SaltLakeCity #Coffee #TurkishCoffee #SLCFood #SLCTravel #CafeLife #HiddenGems #CozyVibes #WinterWarmth
