🇺🇸 Salt Lake City｜The Most Beautiful Autumn Brunch Is Here 🍂🍳

The red leaves haven’t fully fallen, yet the snow has already arrived—it’s Utah’s most beautiful season again! As one of North America’s earliest mountain-built lodges, ​​Alta Lodge​​ has been welcoming guests since 1940, including many famous visitors. Economics students will definitely recognize ​​Milton Friedman​​ 📚, and Reagan’s strong support for his free-trade policies remains a hot topic during election seasons. Another notable guest was writer ​​William Buckley​​ ✍️, whose televised debate with Gore Vidal half a century ago is still considered legendary. During the pleasant weather months, Alta offers Sunday Brunch 🥐 in buffet style (à la carte also available). While the menu isn’t extensive or overly refined, the breathtaking natural setting makes it one of my go-to spots. I always extra helpings of the ​​ceviche​​ and ​​tofu noodles​​, paired with Japanese seaweed and grilled salmon 🍣—so good! Even if you’re not having a full meal, sipping a mimosa 🥂 while gazing at the valley is pure bliss. I once saw an elderly gentleman in a wheelchair, using oxygen but still laughing and enjoying his drink—that’s the life attitude I aspire to! 💫 📌 When reserving, try to request seating on the outdoor patio ⛱️. Non-guests can also make reservations. Luggage can be stored at the front desk. Here’s my perfect autumn weekend routine—copy it, no need to thank me 😉: Stay at ​​Snowbird​​ or ​​Cliff Lodge​​ over a weekend in late September or early October. Right outside is ​​Oktoberfest​​! Hotel parking is free (valet optional), saving you from public parking and shuttle hassles. As we get older, every ounce of energy should go toward fun! 🎉 Plus, who wants to drive down after a day of drinking? Highly recommend staying overnight—every room has mountain views! 🏔️ On Sunday morning, ask the front desk to arrange a shuttle to Alta (both The Inn and Snowbird Lodge work—they’re under the same management, but Snowbird rooms are nicer). After brunch, just call the shuttle back. Perfect! 🚐 ‼️ They don’t accept Apple Pay.
