A bar transformed from an old bank, featuring a 1920s Speakeasy style. Hidden like Dickens in the cracks, eerie dolls in the display windows, flickering candlelight in the darkness, and behind massive heavy valves—secrets seem endlessly deep. The entire restaurant is shrouded in a forbidden atmosphere, ambiguously seductive, like mysterious whispers in an ancient castle or the occasional glimpse of hidden passion behind a secret door on a seemingly silent street. 📜 Some background: The so-called Prohibition era refers to the 13-year ban on alcohol in the U.S. starting in the early 1920s 🚫. The alcohol trade was forced underground, with storefronts disguised as barbershops 💈 or cafes ☕️. Behind hidden doors, the revelry continued—alcohol was served in coffee cups to avoid suspicion. These places were called Speakeasies, a term originating from secret transactions through small speaking holes in doors. There were also creative tricks like liquor bottles disguised as books 📖, hollow canes used to smuggle alcohol 🏑, and more. To this day, traces of that era remain across the U.S. 🍸 Cocktails Their drink menu is fantastic—order freely! Our group of three tried nearly 10 different drinks, and none disappointed. 🧀 Charcuterie Board 🍻 Perfect while waiting for the roasted chicken. What’s drinks without snacks? The cheese and charcuterie selections are excellent. 🍗 Signature Beer Can Chicken Made to order and requires at least 45 minutes to prepare. As shown, it’s served neatly portioned. The chicken is crispy-skinned and juicy, accompanied by roasted vegetables and potatoes. The portion is generous—enough for two hungry diners. 📌 Reservation requires credit card info.
