One of Salt Lake City’s top-rated Italian restaurants — the moment you walk in, you’ll see a whole wall of celebrity photos: Curry, Hugh Jackman, Mark Cuban, and more have all dined here! 📸✨ The owner hails from Tuscany 🇮🇹, and the decor combines a cozy villa-like countryside charm with upscale elegance. Many photos on the wall were taken at the owner’s Tuscan home. In my opinion, their Fresh Pasta is the standout — you can’t go wrong with any choice! Meat entrees 🍖 change often, with Scaloppine (thinly sliced meat) frequently featured lately — I skipped it as it seemed average. The Daily Special often includes excellent cuts. Service is attentive — many entrees are finished tableside. Larger dishes can be split into smaller portions. You can bring your own cake, but a slicing fee applies. 🍅 Antipasti: Bruschetta — A unique flavor thanks to their house-made olive oil. A complimentary starter, but absolutely delightful! 🍄 Fungata — Burrata with sautéed mushrooms, served with fried potato slices instead of bread. A savory, bite-sized treat. 🍐 Fette di Anatra & Pâté di Nana — Truffle duck liver pâté with sliced duck breast, roasted pear, and plum sauce. Complex and light, though the duck had a slight gaminess. 🦞 Secondi: Scoglio di Mare con Gamberoni (Seafood Angel Hair Pasta) — A classic with salmon, scallops, clams, shrimp, and tomato broth. Sweet and savory, though a bit salty. ⭐️ Fresh Black Truffle Pasta — Seasonal only! Cream sauce cooked tableside, tossed with pasta, and finished with freshly shaved black truffle. Aromatic, luxurious, and rare to find in Utah — a must-order! Large enough for 2–3 people to share. Daily Special — Changes daily — often includes a fresh pasta and a protein entrée. Sometimes offers delightful surprises! 🍫 Dessert Tiramisu was too sweet for my taste 😅.
