🇺🇸 Salt Lake City 🏔️
After leaving Arches National Park, we drove north all the way to Salt Lake City. There aren’t many must-see attractions here, but we visited ⭐️ Stansbury Bay, a popular photo spot (requires 20 minutes on a gravel road). The view was just okay, but since we were already in Salt Lake City, we thought why not give it a shot? 😄 In the evening, we went to Ensign Peak Preserve to watch the sunset and managed to capture some satisfying photos. 📸🌅 Accommodation in Salt Lake City was the cheapest I’ve experienced in the U.S.—we stayed three nights at the DoubleTree Hilton near the airport for around ¥800 per night. The ducks in the hotel’s lake were completely fearless around people! 🦆❤️ Salt Lake City has deep historical roots, especially tied to the construction of the transcontinental railroad, which attracted many Chinese immigrants back in the day. We visited Chinatown and tried Hero Hot Pot (26peradult,16 per child)—it was decent! 🥢 The next day, we gave Yunnan Rice Noodles a try. It was emotional for me seeing it since I used to live in Yunnan, China—but the taste was just average. Still, when you’re abroad, you learn not to be too picky. It filled our stomachs, and that’s what mattered. 🍜✨ #SaltLakeCity #UtahTravel #EnsignPeak #SunsetViews #BudgetTravel #HistoricTowns #ChinatownVibes #HotPotLove #TravelEats #ScenicSpots #PhotoDiary #Wanderlust #ExploreUSA #HiddenGems
