🇺🇸 Salt Lake City Affordable Solo Dining Diary 🍜✨
Sesame Beef Noodles cost around $23 including tax. 💵 Tips are at your discretion. Not sure if this is considered expensive in Salt Lake City. It was a bit salty for me, but very fragrant. A little like oil-splashed noodles but not greasy. The noodles are different from Northern Chinese style—less chewy. It includes Sichuan peppercorns but isn’t spicy. The beef is tender and easily shreds apart. There are also mushrooms mixed in, and the juices blend perfectly with the beef for a satisfying chew. 😋🍄 The portion is quite generous—I could make it last for 1.5 to 2 meals (note: I’m not a big eater). Since I was craving more, I also ordered a bunch of skewers—all pretty good! I tried chicken hearts, mushrooms, chicken skin, pork cheek, and beef. My favorite was the pork cheek—surprisingly tasty and not fatty at all. 🍢🔥 The mocktail came with a tooth decoration on top… kinda funny, not sure what it means. 😂🦷 Address: Bar Nohm 165 W 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 I’ve been eating solo a lot lately and wanted to document good spots.
