📍 The Grand America Hotel, Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT ⛰️ Location: Just a 15-minute drive from City Creek Center, Target, Walmart, and most highly-recommended restaurants and bakeries. The area is very safe. Only 8 minutes from the airport 🛫, with direct UTA TRAX access nearby. Convenient and well-connected! Opposite is its sister hotel, The Little America Hotel. ⛰️ Decor / Atmosphere: Classic American-style decor that feels elegant but not overwhelming. We booked a suite—spacious and comfortable! 🛋️ Locals love hosting weddings here, and with tourists visiting Salt Lake City and Yellowstone, the hotel is always lively. The lobby has a boutique toy store and a small market—kids adore it! 🧸🛍️ ⛰️ Dining: The hotel features a restaurant (Laurel), a café, and a bar (21+ only). Laurel serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner—we tried all three! Room service was also great. I especially loved the pancakes 🥞—the maple syrup was served warm! The café has interesting ice cream flavors 🍦—fun to try, though fairly standard in taste. ⛰️ Service: Staff were very friendly and attentive.
