Originally, I went to check out Cowabunga Bay WaterPark, but I discovered that right next door was a highly recommended American BBQ joint. Instantly, I decided today was the perfect day for a meat feast! 🥩💥 It’s a small place, but customers keep streaming in. While there are many American BBQ spots in Utah, this is the only one that serves grilled oxtail ‼️ As an oxtail enthusiast, I had to try it! The portions are huge—just one rack of ribs and some oxtail left me fully satisfied. I’d recommend two people share a 2 Meat Plate. ​​🍖 Spare Ribs​​ Not overly greasy, crispy and fragrant while still retaining a meaty texture—grilled to perfection. ​​🍖 Famous Smoked Oxtails​​ I expected it to be oily since oxtail is naturally high in fat, but it wasn’t greasy at all—in fact, it was slightly dry. The seasoning leaned a bit salty for me, so I mixed it with salad to balance it out. They also make oxtail sausage—so unique! I’ll definitely try it next time. ​​🍘 Sides​​ Mac n Cheese was super cheesy with a generous amount of cheese 🧀.
