πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Second Trip to Jacksonville | Outdoor Adventure Edition πŸŒ³πŸš—

Went back to Jacksonville from Gainesville this weekend! Last time was all indoor fun β€” this time we explored the great outdoors 🏞️. Original plan: Visit Little Talbot Island State Park and Huguenot Memorial Park. But both were FULL by noon 🚫πŸ˜₯ (pro tip: go early!). What we did instead: We headed to Fort George Island Cultural State Park 🏝️. It was quiet and not crowded. The highlight was Kingsley Plantation – small but interesting ⛳️. ⚠️ Warning: The unpaved Palmetto Ave road is ROUGH β€” full of potholes and puddles (especially after rain!). Our car turned gray-white by the end πŸš™πŸ’¨. Hopefully they pave it someday! Finally got into Huguenot Memorial Park in the afternoon 🌊: This park is at the mouth of the St. Johns River β€” with the river on one side and the Atlantic on the other πŸŒ…. Beautiful white sand beaches πŸ–οΈ, huge cargo ships passing by 🚒, and lots of families camping πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦. Highly recommend! Little Talbot β†’ saved for next time πŸ˜‰ Dinner (again!) at Top Pot & K BBQ πŸ–πŸ”₯: Went early β€” no wait this time! Finally tried their BBQ (grill + hotpot combo). Verdict: βœ… BBQ was fire βœ… Hotpot still amazing βœ… Still obsessed with their sago dessert 🍧❀️ #Jacksonville #ExploreJAX #OutdoorAdventure #FloridaParks #HuguenotPark #RoadTrip
