This was the first time that my family and I have visited this beach. It is a decent beach that you can drive your car on. I liked that we could park on the beach and set up our beach stuff right by the car. There was no searching forever for parking and then walking blocks to get to the beach. Nope. You and your car are right there. A lot of people had their tents up. Some people were BBQ-ing. People had their music on but was respectful of others by not blasting it. Most of the time people were very mindful of kids and people walking as they would back up their cars or drive off. The water looks way better at this beach than it does at JAX Beach. It isn't crystal clear of course but it is just a bit better than JAX. Now let's get down to business. We went on a Sunday and there were a lot of people already there up and down the beach. Rows of cars almost like a parking lot with driving areas in between the rows all the way almost up to the water. If you aren't use to seeing all of those cars on the beach, it will take a moment to get use to it. It isn't bad. It is just different. Some advice is to get there early if you plan to stay a few hours. The tide comes in super quick. We got there at 1pm. We had to move our car and belongings once only because we left from closer to the water but not the closest to all the way to the point of almost softer sand area. We stayed there until about 6pm when finally we had no choice but to leave because the water was starting to reach the back tire of our car. By then many people were leaving not only because they were closing soon but because many people didn't have a 4 wheel drive to drive on the soft sand and not get stuck. Overall, it was a good experience. Now we know to get there earlier and park "in the back" so we won't have to run away from the tide by end of the day. I would recommend this beach for families and friends to load up the car and have fun without worrying about having to haul it a couple blocks to the beach on foot or spending a lot of time searching for a...

A second time a direct racially target attack on our small children, with the staff claiming they didn't know who the campers were. The park director came to the scene with no mention of his name, only for a police report to be made but no follow up. Just a stand together that they didn't know who the individuals were. They red hats that came on 4th of July weekend felt they were in the position to behavior in a derogatory and racial geared manner, spewing racial slurs. While calling the police stating, a black toddler was outside the tent on his own wandering around. Of course, the park claims to not have cameras in the campground area but that is not true. They have a birds eye view of the entire park. Florida has a problem with how they treat individuals and because everyone seems to be on the same side of get paid, no one does anything to stop the harassing, gangs talking and bullying. We left a day early and wrote to the park who would not refund us after the incident. You can't hide behind misdeeds forever because eventually they catch up to you. We've camped there previously for a week. They claimed to have had some issues with other campers before by the police officer, and they would be on standby. But what is the word of one person oppose to someone that is favored in their eyes. People will behave nicely for a profit and...
