If you’re a Bay Area family with little ones, you’ve probably ridden every mini-train around – and this one’s a must! 📍 Sonoma TrainTown Railroad Perfect for young kids! The train loops around the park twice and even stops at a mini petting zoo 🦙🐐. Bring coins to buy food and feed the animals! It’s more of a classic children’s amusement park 🎠: Most rides (like the wobbly manual Ferris wheel 🎡) aren’t for 1-year-olds – they mostly stick to the train. The Ferris wheel operator literally counts the rotations manually, then pedals to stop it and opens the safety bar 😂 Better for kids aged 2-3+, but still a fun way to spend a relaxed hour surrounded by beautiful scenery! Sonoma County is gorgeous in spring 🍃 – especially April/May when the hills are glowing green, and happy grass-fed cows laze around on the slopes 🐄💚.
