A super-packed one-day road trip β drove 5 hours from Minneapolis! ππ¨ β° 5:30 AM - Depart from Minneapolis β° 10:30 AM - Arrive in Milwaukee π Milwaukee Public Market Lively morning market with unique food stalls β full of local flavor! π₯π π Milwaukee Art Museum Stunning architecture right by Lake Michigan ποΈπ β similar vibe to MIA but with its own flair. π Harley-Davidson Museum Highly recommend! Not too big, but packed with cool history and iconic motorcycles ποΈβ¨. π Basilica of Saint Josaphat Not every church is called a Basilica β this one is gorgeous and intricately designed βͺπ. Check opening hours before going β it has limited access! π Giannis Antetokounmpo Mural Huge mural dedicated to the Bucks superstar π¨π β a must for NBA fans! π Miller Brewery Tour The Miller Beer headquarters π»! They offer brewery tours with exclusive beer samples (21+ only). Unfortunately, my friend and I are under 21 β so we couldnβt taste them π’. π 1-hour drive to Madison π Wisconsin State Capitol Impressive and grand building β worth a quick stop ποΈπ π½οΈ Ichiban Sichuan 610 S Park St, Madison, WI 53715 π° $30 per person Ate like kings! This place beats any Chinese restaurant in Minnesota β no joke π. We ordered: Cumin Lamb (no gamey taste, perfectly spiced) ππΏ Sizzling Frog with Rice (sauce was everything!) πΈπ Fish with Pork Intestines (tender and flavorful) ππΆοΈ The food was amazing β but service was just okay π.
