🇺🇸 Study Abroad Life | One-Day Trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin
A super packed one-day trip—drove 5 hours from Minneapolis to get here! 🚗💨 🚗 Departed at 5:30 AM, arrived in Milwaukee at 10:30 AM 🌟 Milwaukee Public Market – A lively morning market with tons of unique food stalls. Full of vibes and flavor! 🥨🌭 Milwaukee Art Museum – Similar to Minneapolis’ MIA but with a stunning building right by Lake Michigan. 🏛️🌊 🌟 Harley-Davidson Museum – Highly recommend! Not too big, but packed with history and cool vintage motorcycles. 🏍️✨ Basilica of Saint Josaphat – Not every church is called a "Basilica"—this one is gorgeous and intricately designed. ⛪😍 Check opening hours before going—it has limited hours! Giannis Mural – The famous mural of Giannis Antetokounmpo! 🏀🎨 🌟 Miller Brewery – The Miller Beer headquarters offers factory tours. Note: If you're 21+, you can sample exclusive beers only available here! 🍻 My friend and I weren’t 21 yet, so we missed out 😢 🚗 1-hour drive Wisconsin State Capitol – Impressive and majestic state building! 🏛️❤️ 🍽️ Ichiban Sichuan 610 S Park St, Madison, WI 53715 Around $30 per person This place puts any Chinese restaurant in Minnesota to shame 😤 They serve all kinds of dishes—everything we ordered was a hit! The cumin lamb was flavorful with no gamey taste, the sizzling frog with rice was super savory, and the fish with pork intestine was tender and smooth. Only downside: the service was pretty meh 🫤 #Milwaukee #Wisconsin #MinneapolisDayTrip #Minnesota #UMN #StudyAbroad #DailyLife #HiddenGemEateries
