🇺🇸 Tucson | Must-Visit Weekend Farmers Market 🧑🌾
📍 Rillito Park Farmers Market If you’re free on Sunday, be sure to check out this farmers market in Tucson! The weather is perfect right now—cool and ideal for spending time outdoors 🌤️. This market is quite large with dozens of stalls. I always pick up some fresh veggies 🥕—all locally grown and much fresher than supermarket produce. The lettuces are especially tender (and popular—people snap them up fast!). You’ll also find potatoes 🥔, carrots 🥕, onions 🧅, and more. The organic eggs 🥚 sell out quickly—very high demand! We bought a bag of carrots—sweet and perfect for soup 🍲. They’re the large kind you rarely see in stores (where most are thin and small). We also grabbed a jar of local wild honey 🍯—thick and richly textured. There are plenty of food stalls too! We tried a Turkish gözleme (savory stuffed flatbread 🇹🇷 Wow—huge portion and surprisingly delicious! Lots of filling wrapped in a thin, soft bread—almost like eating straight meat 🫓😋. A bit oily, but otherwise amazing! Highly recommend visiting to grab fresh fruits and veggies 🥬, enjoy the outdoors, and maybe try a tasty snack! ⚠️ Many vendors only accept cash 💵. Pets are no longer allowed (except service animals) starting this year. 🕒 Winter hours: Sundays, 9 AM – 1 PM ☀️ Summer hours: Feb–Apr: Sundays, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM Apr–Sep: Sundays, 8 AM – 12 PM #WeekendPlans #AZ #Arizona #Tucson #FarmersMarket #FreshProduce #Organic #LocalFood
