🇺🇸 Tucson Food | Tito and Pep – A Must-Try! Absolutely Delicious! 🌮
Not many people write about Tucson restaurants, but this one is a hidden gem 💎—it made the 2022 Top 50 US Restaurants list, and it’s Tucson’s only entry! We blind-ordered, and wow—it did not disappoint! Here’s what we tried: 1️⃣ Yellow Tail Fish (Daily Special) ➖ The fish itself was fresh and not fishy at all, but the seasoning was a bit underwhelming. Too much olive oil made it feel heavy, and the apple flavor was too subtle. 2️⃣ Steak Skewers ⭕️ So good! A must-order! Tangy and slightly spicy—perfectly seasoned. The meat was a bit chewy (some parts were tough), but the flavor was so amazing we finished it all! 3️⃣ Grilled Octopus ⭕️ Absolutely stunning! Don’t be scared by the red chili oil—it’s not spicy, just incredibly fragrant 🌶️✨. The crispy fried chilies paired with tender octopus were a masterpiece. (Feels like a Chinese chef invented this—totally evoked you po lazi vibes!) 4️⃣ Swordfish (Daily Special) ⭕️ Delicious! Served with a green chili sauce that was tangy and spicy—a bit hotter than other dishes, but not overwhelming. The fish was cooked perfectly (no fishy taste!), and a squeeze of lemon lifted the flavor even more. The Brussels sprouts on the side were slightly salty but still good. 5️⃣ Pork Chop ❌ I detected a slight pork odor (I’m sensitive to that), but my friend didn’t notice. The meat was also quite lean and dry, making it tough to chew. Seasoning was too mild—lacked depth. 6️⃣ Olive Oil Cake ➖ Not too sweet with a dense texture—pretty good! But it’s very filling. Recommend only if you still have room after the main courses. Summary: Great ambiance, excellent service, and outstanding food. A definite must-try! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🏠 4122 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85712 #Tucson #TucsonEats #TucsonFood #MustTry #TucsonLife #Arizona #ArizonaFood #ArizonaTravel
