๐บ๐ธ Twin Cities, MN Food Guide | Must-Try Restaurants! ๐ฝ๏ธโค๏ธ
Spent four unforgettable years studying at Macalester College โ and these are my all-time favorite spots in MN: ๐ Onโs Kitchen One of the best near Macalester! Right next to the light rail station ๐, affordable and authentic Thai flavors. ๐ด Fine Dining Spoon & Stable Still in my top 10 restaurants EVER! Must-orders: Nero pasta ๐, duck breast, Honey & Cream Cake ๐ฏ๐ฐ. They also serve the best mille crรชpe cake in MN at brunch! Demi By the same chef (Gavin) โ an elevated tasting menu experience. Arguably the best fine dining in MN, Michelin two-star level ๐ซ. MARA Gavinโs Middle Eastern concept in the Four Seasons Hotel ๐๐. The lamb and pasta are incredible. Meritage Classic French-American in downtown St. Paul. Not as flashy as some MPLS spots, but the flavors deliver. They serve oysters from top regions across the US ๐ฆช. โโโ ๐ฃ Japanese Kaiseki Furukawa Likely MNโs only kaiseki experience. The owner is Japanese, and the quality could easily earn a Michelin star in a bigger city. Still just $160 โ unreal value! ๐ Billy Sushi The Vietnamese owner trained in Japan for 20 years ๐ฃ๐ฅ. Beats most Americanized sushi spots โ now one of the hottest in MN. Origami Nicknamed โJDโs Restaurantโ โ rumor says Richard Liu dined here! Not the most authentic, but portions are generous. Fuji Ya Upscale American-style sushi. Good bento boxes and rare sashimi selections โ a bit far away in Uptown. Gyukaku ๐ช Steakhouses Mannyโs Steakhouse Top 10 steakhouse in North America ๐ฅฉ๐, located in the W Hotel. Try their more affordable lunch steaks! Capital Grille Upscale chain with a reliable steak experience. Lunch deals are great โ dinner is pricey but consistent. ๐ฅข Chinese Keefer Court The best Chinese restaurant in all of Minnesota ๐ฅ! Award-winning, and the flavors would rank mid-to-high even in China. Even Chinese consuls from Chicago dine here! #FoodGuide #TwinCities #Minnesota #EatLikeALocal #FineDining #SushiLovers #Macalester
