🇺🇸 Two-Day, One-Night Guide to San Antonio!
You must stay overnight in San Antonio! We stayed at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk 🏨💫 — right on the river with views from the room. The street comes alive at night with lively bars and great vibes 🍹🌙. San Antonio Missions – a UNESCO World Heritage site! Four parts in total, each fairly small. Start with Concepción – the most artistic, though currently under renovation outside 😅. Then San José, known as the “Queen of the Missions” – the most complete and grand, with Spanish Baroque style. It was cloudy when we went; sunny days would be even more photogenic! ☀️📸 Next, San Juan – a simple white chapel, nothing too special. Finally, Espada – ancient and very photogenic 🏛️. The Alamo – located downtown, also a mission site. Historic Market Square – a Mexican market with indoor and outdoor stalls full of crafts and snacks. So much Latin American flair! 🌮🛍️ San Fernando Cathedral – try to catch the evening light show! Check the official website for times 🌃✨. San Antonio Riverwalk Don’t miss a stroll along the river – it’s a must! 💙🚶♀️ Dinner: Boudro’s on the Riverwalk – reservations are a must, it’s super popular! Right on the river and always buzzing 🥂🔥. Blackened Prime Ribeye – incredibly tender Seared Scallop – so flavorful, a must-order Mesquite Grilled Texas Quail – two grilled quails, absolutely delicious 🍴😋 Breakfast: The Guenther House Opens early and just a 4-minute walk from the hotel! I ordered the Specialidades – Most recommended: Fiesta Lobster Roll – not your traditional lobster roll, filled with meat from two lobster claws and a deliciously seasoned sauce 🦞🌟. Also: Alamo Burger – made with Wagyu beef (pretty good, classic American burger taste) and served in a super flaky croissant 🍔🥐. #SanAntonio #SanAntonioTravel #USA #StudyAbroad ✈️🗺️
