πΊπΈ Two Downtown Portland Hotel Recommendations π¨β¨
π Sharing a quick review of two hotels I stayed at in Portland: βββββββββββββββ The Ritz Carlton Portland ποΈ π ΏοΈ Valet parking ONLY β $65 per day π Pool and gym located on the 19th floor with great views π (Some say you can see Mt. Hood from there β I didnβt spot it thoughπ ) π½οΈ The restaurant on the 20th floor is where we had breakfast and dinner. Room service breakfast has extra charges: $7 delivery fee + service fee based on order. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely β dim lighting, candles on each table π―οΈ, nice atmosphere, and tasty food! π β¨ Pro tip: When booking, let the hotel know if youβre celebrating a special event β they might surprise you! We received chocolate-covered strawberries π, a bottle of champagne π₯, and a handwritten card. Sweet touch! π― βββββββββββββββ The Duniway Portland π π ΏοΈ Valet parking: $60 / Self-parking: $35 (more budget-friendly!) π½οΈ We ate at Mayrose, the hotelβs all-day restaurant. Very convenient and decent food. Located next to the lobby on the first floor β view isnβt anything special ποΈ. You can see the blue streetcars passing byβ¦ and also some homeless folks around (unfortunately common in Portland π). β β Both hotels are in the heart of downtown β within walking distance to: Powellβs City of Books (0.4 miles) π Kinokuniya Bookstore (just a few mins β great for Hello Kitty limited editions π) Plenty of cafes, shopping streets, and light rail access πΆβποΈ Shady, tree-covered streets make walking very pleasant (would be perfect without the homeless situation though). #Portland #HotelRecommendations #Travel #PortlandMaine π¨π³
