πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Two Downtown Portland Hotel Recommendations 🏨✨

πŸ“ Sharing a quick review of two hotels I stayed at in Portland: β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” The Ritz Carlton Portland πŸ™οΈ πŸ…ΏοΈ Valet parking ONLY β€” $65 per day 🏊 Pool and gym located on the 19th floor with great views πŸŒ† (Some say you can see Mt. Hood from there β€” I didn’t spot it thoughπŸ˜…) 🍽️ The restaurant on the 20th floor is where we had breakfast and dinner. Room service breakfast has extra charges: $7 delivery fee + service fee based on order. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely β€” dim lighting, candles on each table πŸ•―οΈ, nice atmosphere, and tasty food! πŸ‘ ✨ Pro tip: When booking, let the hotel know if you’re celebrating a special event β€” they might surprise you! We received chocolate-covered strawberries πŸ“, a bottle of champagne πŸ₯‚, and a handwritten card. Sweet touch! πŸ’― β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” The Duniway Portland 🚊 πŸ…ΏοΈ Valet parking: $60 / Self-parking: $35 (more budget-friendly!) 🍽️ We ate at Mayrose, the hotel’s all-day restaurant. Very convenient and decent food. Located next to the lobby on the first floor β€” view isn’t anything special πŸ™οΈ. You can see the blue streetcars passing by… and also some homeless folks around (unfortunately common in Portland πŸ˜”). β€” βœ… Both hotels are in the heart of downtown β€” within walking distance to: Powell’s City of Books (0.4 miles) πŸ“š Kinokuniya Bookstore (just a few mins β€” great for Hello Kitty limited editions πŸŽ€) Plenty of cafes, shopping streets, and light rail access πŸšΆβ˜•πŸ›οΈ Shady, tree-covered streets make walking very pleasant (would be perfect without the homeless situation though). #Portland #HotelRecommendations #Travel #PortlandMaine 🏨🌳
