Portland, Maine: From Street Eats to Top 50 — Must-Try List!

No car? No problem! Originally planned as a day trip to Portland… but ended up staying overnight just for Twelve — and it was worth it! 😆 🍽️ RESTAURANTS: 😍 Twelve – One of Maine’s Top 50 restaurants! Prix fixe menu, reasonably priced. Their bread is legendary 🥖, desserts are great too. No regrets! 😍 The Highroller Lobster Co. – Amazing lobster roll! Their jalapeño mayo is to die for 🌶️🦞 ☺️ ISF Trading – Cheap and generous portions! Though some fish items required thawing 🐟❄️ 😐 Eventide – Super hyped online, but we found it just okay. Not bad, but not unforgettable. 🍦 SWEETS & SNACKS: ☺️ Gorgeous Gelato – Tasty… until I tried Fiasco! 😍 The Gelato Fiasco – OBSESSED! I loved it so much I wanted to buy the store 🍧❤️ My friends agreed it’s better than Gorgeous! 😍 Fresh Milk & Yogurt – As a milk lover, I highly recommend! The peach yogurt was fun — like popping candy exploding in your mouth 🍑⚡ 😐 Holy Donut – Tasty, but more like an oily pastry 🍩. Prefer classic donuts. Their hash browns are good though! 🥐 COFFEE SHOPS (some no-photo moments): ☺️ Tandem Coffee and Bakery – Long line early morning, hard to grab seats. But pretty good! ☺️ Bard Coffee – Solid brew 👍. Great place to rest while exploring. ☺️ Standard Baking Co. – Bread was okay, not as legendary as people say. Perfect for a food-focused trip — Portland won’t disappoint! Will definitely return for more lobster, gelato, and good vibes 🥰🚗 #Maine #MaineLobster #Portland #MaineEats #Foodie #TravelMaine 🦞🍴
