Portland, Maine: From Street Eats to Top 50 โ Must-Try List!
No car? No problem! Originally planned as a day trip to Portlandโฆ but ended up staying overnight just for Twelve โ and it was worth it! ๐ ๐ฝ๏ธ RESTAURANTS: ๐ Twelve โ One of Maineโs Top 50 restaurants! Prix fixe menu, reasonably priced. Their bread is legendary ๐ฅ, desserts are great too. No regrets! ๐ The Highroller Lobster Co. โ Amazing lobster roll! Their jalapeรฑo mayo is to die for ๐ถ๏ธ๐ฆ โบ๏ธ ISF Trading โ Cheap and generous portions! Though some fish items required thawing ๐โ๏ธ ๐ Eventide โ Super hyped online, but we found it just okay. Not bad, but not unforgettable. ๐ฆ SWEETS & SNACKS: โบ๏ธ Gorgeous Gelato โ Tastyโฆ until I tried Fiasco! ๐ The Gelato Fiasco โ OBSESSED! I loved it so much I wanted to buy the store ๐งโค๏ธ My friends agreed itโs better than Gorgeous! ๐ Fresh Milk & Yogurt โ As a milk lover, I highly recommend! The peach yogurt was fun โ like popping candy exploding in your mouth ๐โก ๐ Holy Donut โ Tasty, but more like an oily pastry ๐ฉ. Prefer classic donuts. Their hash browns are good though! ๐ฅ COFFEE SHOPS (some no-photo moments): โบ๏ธ Tandem Coffee and Bakery โ Long line early morning, hard to grab seats. But pretty good! โบ๏ธ Bard Coffee โ Solid brew ๐. Great place to rest while exploring. โบ๏ธ Standard Baking Co. โ Bread was okay, not as legendary as people say. Perfect for a food-focused trip โ Portland wonโt disappoint! Will definitely return for more lobster, gelato, and good vibes ๐ฅฐ๐ #Maine #MaineLobster #Portland #MaineEats #Foodie #TravelMaine ๐ฆ๐ด
