🇺🇸 Visiting Austin’s Most Stunning Restaurant – Nido 🍹

Having lived in Austin for years, I finally tried Nido downtown – located right by the river on the rooftop of the Loren Hotel. The experience was absolutely amazing! ✨ 📅 Reservation: Booked a 6:15 PM outdoor table to catch both sunset and city lights 🌇. Late October weather was perfect – not too hot or cold! Outdoor seating is limited, so reserve weeks in advance! Even if seated inside, you can step out for photos. The staff suggested using the small table lamp for lighting – it made night photos look fantastic! 📸💡 🍽 Food: Went in for the views, but the food surprised me! Appetizer: Tuna tartare with shrimp chips, avocado, and Thousand Island dressing – so delicious! 🥑🍤 Mains: Grilled chicken and short ribs. The chicken breast had crispy skin and was stuffed with grains. Short ribs came with cheesy mashed potatoes – unique and tasty! 🍗🥩 🍮 Dessert: The deconstructed tiramisu was good, but my favorite was another dessert (forgot the name!) – not too sweet, with a hint of citrus bitterness. Refreshing and delicious! 🍊 ⏱ Service was efficient, total bill around $200. 🚗 Valet parking: The restaurant validates tickets (discounted rate ~$10). Not free, but they park for you!
