🇺🇸 What I Ate During My 4-Day 3-Night Trip to Pittsburgh 😋
🍖 Gaucho – South American Grill A meat-focused restaurant 🔥 Ordered the grilled vegetable platter and the classic sandwich – both were delicious! They also have exclusive homemade sauces that pair perfectly with the dishes. 👍 🍳 The Speckled Egg – Located downtown The best brunch I had during my trip – still dreaming about it! 🥞 The Classic is a solid American breakfast – the sausage was amazing. The Kazaam bowl was SUPER tasty – rich tomato flavor 🍅 Served with a runny egg and crispy fried onions on toasted bread… absolutely incredible! 😭 🍲 Green Pepper – Korean Restaurant The Army Stew was just okay 👀 But the cheesy ribs were delicious! And the portion was generous. A bit on the pricier side, though. 🥪 Primanti Bros Ordered takeout twice from here 🚗 The bread really makes their sandwiches special – so good! 🥢 Pepper Space A casual Chinese spot near CMU we walked into Spend over $20 and get a free basket of soup dumplings! 🎉 The shredded pork with garlic sauce over rice was decent, but had a slight “Americanized” vibe. The ice jelly dessert (Bingfen) was pretty nice though. 🍜 Pho Van Tried the Pad Thai – a bit too sweet for me, got kinda heavy toward the end. 🧇 Sally Ann’s Their seasonal Spring Matcha drink was so refreshing! 🌸 Had a floral note. The chicken and waffles came with a generous amount of chicken. The sandwich was just okay, and a little overpriced. 💬 Overall: Pittsburgh isn’t a huge food city, and the prices felt almost as high as New York’s! 🫠 Still missing real Chinese food… can’t wait to go back home for good eats 😭 #Foodie #RestaurantReview #Travel #Pittsburgh #CMU #FoodExplorer #InternationalStudent #StudyAbroad #CampusLife #Eats #MissRealChineseFood
