๐บ๐ธ What This Average International Student Ate in 4 Days in Vegas
No Michelin stars, no fancy dinners โ hereโs what a budget student under $50 per meal ate in Las Vegas! ๐ฝ๏ธโจ ๐ฃ Meal 1: 888 Sushi and Robata Found through Xiaohongshu โ packed even with a Yelp waitlist! Waited 1.5 hours. Three price tiers โ mid and high include uni; high includes Wagyu. Portions are small, and Wagyu/uni are limited. Unless you really want Wagyu, mid-tier is enough โ Wagyu dishes are few and not worth the extra $$. ๐ฅ Meal 2: KJ Dim Sum Inside Rio Hotel โ full of Chinese uncles and aunties! Loved the cart service ๐. Each plate ~$6โ7, decent portions and authentic vibes. ๐ถ๏ธ Meal 3: Jaybirdโs Hot Chicken Yes, we ate hot chicken in Vegas after Nashville! Located in Venetian food court โ cheap and filling. Tasty, but probably canโt beat Hattie Bโs back in Tennessee ๐ . ๐ Meal 4: Ramen-Ya Craving Asian food, so we picked a local ramen spot nearby. Huge portions, generous meat โ perfect for carb and meat lovers ๐ฅฉ๐. ๐ฅข Meal 5: Din Tai Fung Staying at Aria and wanted to use food credit โ but the line was too long, so we got takeout. IMO, pricey and leans toward Western tastes. First-timers can try, but no need to wait in long lines. ๐ Meal 6: In-N-Out Nostalgia for my California high school days! Remember: Animal Style fries + grilled onions in the burger โ youโre welcome ๐. ๐ฟ Meal 7: Lemongrass Hidden gem in Aria โ their spice level is NO JOKE ๐ถ๏ธ๐ฅ! Server said level 3 is medium โ we got level 5 and it was seriously hot (and delicious!). Must-try: Po Tak soup โ seafood + mushrooms = umami bomb ๐ฒ. Pineapple fried rice with Chinese sausage and raisins was also amazing. Mentioned it was a birthday meal โ they gave us free ice cream! ๐จ๐ ๐ฐ Total: Every meal under $40 per person โ super budget-friendly! Hope this helps you eat well in Vegas without breaking the bank โ and win some money while youโre at it! ๐ฐ๐ต #InternationalStudentEats #FoodExploration #GlobalEats #FoodSavesTheWorld
