🇺🇸 Where to Go for a Long Weekend? | Austin, Texas Travel Guide 🌆

🗺️ Recommended spots are all marked here: 🔸 Ann and Roy Butler Trail Perfect for a city walk! From Zilker Park along the river ➡️ Lou Neff Point ➡️ Butler Metro Park for stunning night skyline views 🌃 🔸 The Oasis - Lake Travis Come here for drinks 🍸 and sunset views! Amazing atmosphere and a beautiful lake 🌅 🔸 Texas Capitol Guided tours are available daily to explore the interior and learn about Texas history 🏛️ 🔸 Blanton Museum of Art A super photogenic museum! Right behind the Capitol, it’s one of Austin’s most iconic spots. ⚠️ Note: The nearby glass installation was under maintenance and closed during my visit. 🔸 Sixth Street The iconic bar street! Live music, jazz, clubs—you name it! 🎶🍻 🔸 Lady Bird Lake Great for kayaking and paddle boarding 🚣‍♀️ 🔸 UT Austin Right next to the museum—worth a visit if you have time! 🎓 🏨 Hotel Highly recommend Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin 💖 I absolutely loved the bright, minimalist style and the floor-to-ceiling windows with city views 🌆 The location is 💯—walkable to the Capitol, UT Austin, and Sixth Street! Their breakfast is also delicious!! 🍳 🍽️ Food & Drinks Café Medici A local Austin coffee chain! Their strawberry rose matcha was so amazing I had it two days in a row 😍… Still dreaming about it back in the Bay Area! Ramen Tatsuya An izakaya-style ramen spot—great dinner vibe! The chashu was exceptional 🍜. Their dipping noodles were good, but the ramen was just okay. The Tradition an American Kitchen The hotel’s brunch spot (open to the public). One of the few places where I actually enjoyed American-style breakfast! Sammie’s Italian food on Sixth Street—mediocre and a bit overpriced 🫤 #Austin #Texas #WeekendGetaway #TravelGuide #FoodieAdventure 🎉✨
