🇺🇸 Wisconsin’s Door County | Peninsula State Park Fall Foliage Trip
Just spent a weekend in the “Cape Cod of the Midwest”—Door County, WI, famous for its stunning fall colors! One of the best spots to enjoy the autumn scenery is Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek. 🍁 If you’re short on time, head straight to Eagle Tower (you can search it directly on maps). The first four photos were taken at Eagle Panorama, just one block before the tower. It’s a perfect spot to set up your phone for timed group photos 🤳. From here, you can see Horseshoe Island, Strawberry Island, Green Bay, and even the UP coastline. On a clear day, the view is absolutely breathtaking! 🌅 Photos 5 to 9 were taken from the top of Eagle Tower 🏞️. The elevated view lets you take in the full beauty of the islands draped in vibrant fall colors. The tower features a stroller and wheelchair-friendly ramp 🧑🦽👶, making it accessible for all ages. The gentle slope is lined with golden leaves all the way up—pure magic! You’ve got about the next 10 days to catch the peak foliage 🗓️. If visiting on a weekend, arrive early—the park gets crowded and may limit entry later. Hours: 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM Admission: A vehicle pass is required for entry (state park pass). #Wisconsin #DoorCounty #FallColors #PeninsulaStatePark #AccessibleTravel #MidwestAutumn #ChicagoDayTrip #NatureLovers #USAParks
