This was a great way to see the coast line and watch the sunset. We went on a hazy day but I could only imagine what a sunset would look like on a clear blue sky day. We paid 10.00 I didn’t have but my kids insisted. I feel like even when a family can’t afford to see nature there should be an opportunity for us to see the park as well. Like pledge a day of picking up trash in your local community and post pictures. Make a effort to help your community out. Something. Getting out in nature shouldn’t cost us money. Now I know one could say, it’s for park maintenance or it pays to protect the park. That’s great! All I want to express is give everyone the same opportunity to see our historical lands. MOST IMPORTANTLY- when my wife and I took the walk to the top, we past 6people who probably would not have been able to enjoy the top of the tour had it still been traditional stairs. Ranging from a walker, to wheelchairs, to hand pedal wheelchairs it was a site to see and be happy for those who were able to enjoy.
A HUGE gradual incline loop to the top in amongst the trees. Hats off to all of the private donors who made this monster...

It was so smooth and easy to walk with spots to stop and some signs with knowledge about the trees and birds. The ramp was pretty wide for multiple people to pass which was nice. There’s also stairs you can take to the top of the tower that overlook the water. We went on a weekend and it was packed! Parking near the tower was almost impossible to get and there were people walking and biking everywhere making it hard to drive. At the top of the tower it was so busy which was difficult to get around. But the views were beautiful and it was a really nice lookout spot! We also enjoyed a short hike after on one of the many nearby trails and then enjoyed a nice drive around the rest...
