🇺🇸Eating My Way Through NYC's Italian Spots 1️⃣ | 8 Recent Visits 🍝

I absolutely love Italian food — when it’s done right, it’s all about simplicity, fresh ingredients, and that comforting richness. NYC is packed with Italian spots, and I’ll never get through them all! Here are eight I’ve tried recently:😒 📍 LaRina Pastificio & Vino (BK) A true neighborhood gem with a lovely backyard and cozy atmosphere. The tuna sauce with veal is addictive, and their focaccia and sourdough are wonderfully moist. Pastas are hearty, flavorful, and just feel like a warm hug.👍 📍 Fossetta Their ricotta focaccia with spicy honey was a bit odd, but the bread itself was soft and rich. The creamy chicken liver pasta was a standout — silky sauce, tender liver, and perfectly al dente rigatoni. 📍 San Sabino Don Angie’s sister restaurant with cheerful yellow decor. They love using lemon — a lot — which can get overwhelming. The lobster triangoli was the highlight: rich white sauce, juicy lobster filling, and a hint of chili oil.😊 📍 Rezdôra (Michelin-starred) Handmade pastas with a firm bite — just how I like them. The two-color meat sauce gramigna was tasty but too salty. The egg yolk raviolo with truffle and brown butter was luxurious, though the pasta itself tasted undercooked and chalky. 📍 Lilia Super popular and hard to book. The bread was excellent, and the seafood sauce was nicely balanced, but everything else fell flat. Pastas ranged from bland to overly rich — a real disappointment. 📍 A Pasta Bar (Soho) A cute spot with pasta tasting menus. The noodles have a nice chew without being too hard. The tomato sauce with pistachios and burrata was surprisingly refreshing. 📍 Piccola Cucina Estiatorio (Soho) Another popular place, but honestly forgettable. Portions are generous, but nothing stood out. Fine for a quick meal if you’re nearby. 📍 Song' E Napule A once-hyped pizza spot that’s still busy but easier to book now. The crust has a nice fermented flavor but is on the softer side. Good for when you want something light and easy. Already looking forward to the next round of pasta, pizza, and good vibes!😒 #NYCItalian #EatLikeALocal #PastaLover #NYCEats #BrooklynEats #ItalianFoodNYC #FoodDiary #NYCRestaurants #ComfortFood #SohoEats #PizzaNYC #WeekendEats #NYCFoodie
