🇺🇸NYC|4-Day Chill Travel Guide ✨
Escaped from Toronto to New York last weekend for a 4-day trip… and New York, why are you even colder than Toronto? 🥶 Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, I still had an amazing time exploring the city. Here’s a relaxed itinerary perfect for those who want to take it slow and enjoy New York at their own pace~ Day 1 - SOHO 🛍️ Shopping Lunch at📍Little Ruby's Café Soho If it’s too crowded, try the nearby 🍕Upside Pizza Spent the day exploring SOHO, then had dinner at Xiao Long Kan Hot Pot. A friend recommended it over Chong Qing Lao Zao, and it did not disappoint — so good! 😋 Day 2 - Willamsburg + Brooklyn 🌉 Brunch at ✨Five Leaves in Brooklyn Heard the pasta at nearby Forma Pasta is great too 👌 Personally, I prefer the vibe in Willamsburg over SOHO — it’s less crowded, with lots of cool vintage shops and cozy cafés ☕️ Even the Le Labo café is here! Domino Park is close by with lovely views — perfect for a walk, watching people picnic 🧺 or play with their dogs. If you’re up for more, head to Dumbo (I skipped it this time since I’d been before). You’ll find the iconic Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge spots — ideal for sunset 🌄 Day 3 - Midtown Manhattan 🩶 Visited the MoMa art museum Checked out the giant LV trunk on Fifth Avenue Dinner at Ichiran Ramen Ended the day with skyline views from the Top of the Rock 🌃 There’s an FAO Schwarz toy store downstairs too! If you’re choosing between Rockefeller Center and Summit One Vanderbilt — Summit is more Insta-worthy, but be sure to book tickets in advance! I missed the sunset time slot since they sold out 😭 Day 4 - Times Square + Souvenir Shopping Originally planned to see fall foliage at Central Park 🍁, but many roads were closed for a marathon — a small trip regret. BUT — I tried an incredible Thai restaurant! Must visit: 📍 Mitr Thai Restaurant Got there right as they opened, and both floors were packed within 10 minutes! Afterwards, grabbed a drink at Hey Tea’s Tea Lab in Times Square Took the subway 🚇 down to Strand Bookstore — great for souvenir fridge magnets and bookstore merch 📚 Then walked to Levain Bakery 🍪 for their famous NYC cookies NYU is nearby too, so you can also visit Washington Square Park And that’s a wrap on this trip! 🔚 #NYCGuide #USA #NYCCityWalk #StudyAbroadTravel #StudyAbroadLife #Brooklyn #NYCTravel
