🇻🇳 From Ho Chi Minh to Da Nang – A Brutally Honest Travel Recap!
📍 Highlights & Lowlights: 🌊 Coastal views? Pretty nice! 👌 🏍️ Son Tra Peninsula: Rent a motorbike (~200k VND/day). The Marina Café is okay for photos, and you can ride up to InterContinental’s gate. 📸 🎢 Ba Na Hills? Skip it. Calling it a "budget Disney" is too generous—more like a glorified amusement park 🎠 (and the shuttle from Novotel Riverside leaves at 9:30 AM—ticket required!). 🏮 Hoi An Ancient Town? Meh. If you’re from Jiangsu/Zhejiang/Shanghai, it’s worse than Wuzhen. Only worth it for the coconut boat ride 🥥🚣. ☕ Best find? Highlands Coffee (the big one near Dragon Bridge is solid!). 🏨 Hyatt Da Nang? Overrated. Slow check-in, too many Koreans 🇰🇷, dated rooms, and bad service (except the restaurant—but they won’t give free water 💦, only overpriced Evian!). Not worth 1,600 RMB/night (even in peak season!). 🎆 Luckily caught: Da Nang Fireworks Festival (June 14 weekend, China vs. ?). 🚖 Grab = MVP! 🏆 Great for taxis & food delivery. Final Verdict: 👀 Good for scenic views & sunbathing—but wear sunscreen! ☀️🧴 #DaNang #VietnamTravel #HonestReview #TravelTruths #SkipBaNaHills #HyattFail #GrabSavesTheDay #BeachVibes #NoFilter 🌊✈️
