🏴 Glasgow Day Trip from Edinburgh
🚌 Getting There: Took the 900 bus from Edinburgh to Buchanan Station (round trip £10). Arrived at 10 AM – not hungry yet, so headed straight to sightseeing! ⛪ First Stop: Glasgow Cathedral Closed at noon! 😱 Luckily, the stunning Glasgow Necropolis (cemetery) next door kept us busy until it reopened. Pro tip: Check opening times! 🌯 Lunch Fail → Greek Wrap Rescue! Planned to eat at an Indian restaurant, but missed lunch hours (closed after 2 PM). Ended up at MacTassos (a famous blue food truck near Glasgow Uni) – delicious Greek wraps and the hottest guy I saw in Glasgow worked there! 😍 🛍️ Scottish Souvenir Shopping Visited Eunice Whyte – a cute Scottish goods shop. Bought a 100% cashmere scarf for £40 (cheaper than Edinburgh!). The owner was super chatty (even spoke a little Chinese!) and made the experience fun. 🍨 Dessert Stop: Loop & Scoop Good but too sweet (classic UK dessert problem…). Started strong but got cloying by the end. 📱 Biggest Mistake: No Power Bank! Three people, one dying phone – we barely survived! Had to rush back to Edinburgh with 0% battery on all devices. 😅 Final Thoughts: Glasgow feels more "city" than Edinburgh, but I prefer Edinburgh’s charm. Not sure what else to do here – one day was enough for me! Probably won’t return. #Glasgow #Foodie #DayTrip #Scotland #TravelFail ✨🚍
