Went for the classic flavour. Their handmade pastries look amazing too. The pancake itself was just okay – texture somewhere between a scone and pound cake. Not mind-blowing, but fun to try! At 50p each, it’s a steal. 📌 Tip: Go in the morning – gets super crowded in the afternoon with people buying whole boxes! 📍 Central Market, CF10 1AU Cardiff Castle 🏰 Iconic Welsh landmark. You can take photos with the red dragon outside. Entry tickets required (student discounts available!). National Museum Cardiff 🖼️ Loaded with art – a whole wall of Monet’s Water Lilies, Van Gogh self-portraits, Rodin sculptures you can walk around… totally worth it! Jacobs Antique Centre 🕰️ A massive multi-floor antique market. One stall sells old handwritten postcards – reading them feels like time travel. Would love to spend an afternoon here! Gareth Bale’s Bar – ELEVEN ⚽ Near the train station – perfect for a final stop. Totally went for my husband (a huge Bale fan 😂). Came home to watch highlight reels – what a legend! 🌊 Cardiff Bay Must-Dos If you have time, head to the bay! Walk, take a train, or bus – just 30-45 mins from the city. Wales Millennium Centre 🎭 Huge arts venue with dramatic Welsh text carved into its front – powerful sight! Norwegian Church ⛪ Now a cool café/art space by the pier. Cute to browse – but closes early! Cardiff Bay Walk 🏞️ Stroll the waterfront.
