A Hidden Baroque Church That Will Take Your Breath Away πŸ°πŸ’–

I've been to Munich countless times, and today I finally checked off a hidden gem, a Baroque-style church πŸ’’ tucked away in the bustling pedestrian zone. The moment the door opened, I was utterly amazed! If you're traveling to Munich, my little travelers, do not miss this Baroque church. The moment the door opened, I was indeed captivated. The church was built by the Asam brothers from 1733 to 1746, taking 13 years to complete. Due to the size constraints imposed by the surrounding buildings, it measures only 22x8 meters, so it's easy to overlook. However, the church is currently undergoing external renovations, as seen in Figure 8. ⏰ Operating Hours: Monday to Friday 9:09 AM - 7:00 PM πŸš— How to Get There: Asamkirche is located on Sendlinger Tor, the most vibrant pedestrian street in Munich. Figure 7 shows the Munich Town Hall; it's an 8-minute walk from the Town Hall as seen on the map. πŸ…ΏοΈ For those driving, navigate to Contipark Tiefgarage Oberanger, the closest parking garage. Cross the street from the parking garage, and you'll be there in just one minute. πŸ“· For photo visit enthusiasts, even a smartphone can capture great shots here. The effect is even better on a sunny day. In low-light conditions, your phone will automatically switch to night mode, requiring you to hold your breath and steady your hands for the shot. Figures 1 and 2 were both taken with a smartphone. #Germany #Munich #TravelInspiration #ChroniclesOfRomanticLiving #OffTheBeatenPath #AsamChurch #MyStory #CulturalLandscapes #ExploringTheWorld
