🌴 Hidden Gem Lakeside Retreat in Ontario 🐾 Perfect for Pet Lovers

🚗 Port Rowan A scenic 2.5-hour drive from Mississauga, this lakeside town on the shores of Lake Erie is a hidden gem, perfect for a pet-friendly getaway. 🏝 Long Point Provincial Park The beach boasts incredibly high-quality sand with crystal-clear waters. The sand is so fine, soft, and clean that it's incredibly comfortable underfoot, although it can be a bit too fine for between the toes. 🏝 Big Creek National Wildlife Area A vast wetland park and a renowned birdwatching spot in Ontario. We encountered few people during our visit, mostly avid photographers with large cameras capturing waterfowl. The high vegetation coverage contributes to excellent air quality. 🏠 We found a quaint cottage named Bayside Cottage on Airbnb. The amenities are a bit vintage, but everything you need is there. On our way back, we stopped by Hamilton to see three waterfalls.
