๐ฎ๐น Venice | Discovering Hidden Gems on My Third Visit
Specialty Food ๐ Venice snack Cicchetti, "little bite", similar to Spanish Tapas, our small "appetizer". Based on ordinary baguette, there are various combinations, the most traditional being Bacalao (codfish), usually accompanied by Aperol Spritz, or wine, highly recommended to try when visiting Venice. This is the best one I've tried among many. Bacaro ae Bricoe ๐ Fondamenta dei Ormesini, 2684, 30121 Venezia VE, Italy There are many Cicchetti shops along this street, Vino Vero is also highly recommended, but they don't have Spritz, only wine. Not far from this street, there is Europe's oldest Jewish quarter, dating back to 1516, with 5 different synagogues. You need to buy a ticket to visit, but it's interesting even just to look at the square. ๐ Ghetto Ebraico - Comunitร Ebraica di Venezia Nearby, there are two coffee shops worth recommending. The first is Torrefazione Cannaregio - Speciality Coffee Torrefazione Cannaregio - Caffรจ Artigianale ๐ Fondamenta dei Ormesini, 2804, 30121 Venezia VE, Italy They have many types of coffee beans. The second is sullaluna libreria & bistrot ๐ Fondamenta de la Misericordia, 2535, 30121 Venezia VE, Italy This bookstore + coffee shop is very design-oriented, perfect for those who love taking photos. If you enjoy exhibitions, don't miss Peggy Guggenheim, although small, the works are exquisite. Nearby, there is a restaurant that has been around since 1911, recommended for Spaghetti alla "Busera", a dish commonly eaten by boatmen, tomato + ๐ฆ + pasta, ๐ Trattoria ai Cugnai dal 1911 ๐ Calle Nuova Sant'Agnese, 857, 30123 Venezia VE, Italy #ItalyVenice #VeniceTravel #VeniceTourism
