This 2-week itinerary isnât perfect, but it ticks all my boxes: mountains, oceans, deserts, waterfalls, and wildlife. đşď¸ Itinerary âŞď¸ South Africa (2 days, ) Focus on Cape Town: 1 day in the city (Table Mountain, Signal Hill, Camps Bay, V&A Waterfront). 1 day outside the city (Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, Chapmanâs Peak Drive, Simonâs Town Penguin Colony, Hout Bay Seal Island). âŞď¸ Namibia (3-4 days, ) Highlights: Sossusvleiâs red dunes & Deadvlei (1-2 days), Walvis Bayâs sand-sea landscape & seal kayaking (1-1.5 days), cheetah encounters near Windhoek (0.5-1 day). âŞď¸ Zimbabwe & Zambia (2-3 days,) Victoria Falls from all angles: light hiking, helicopter tours, Zambezi River sunset cruises, bridge bungee jumping, and the Devilâs Pool (dry season onlyâmissed it this time). âŞď¸ Botswana (1-2 days, Chobe Safari recommended as a 2D1N tour, conveniently connected to Victoria Falls. Plan routes to skip slums, lock doors immediately, and hide belongings (floor or trunk, not seats). âŞď¸ Namibia: Watch out for road accidents. Most roads outside cities are gravel/potholedâlearn to change tires and drive slowly. âŞď¸ Zimbabwe-Zambia-Botswana: Wildlife encounters.
