🎉 2024 New Michelin Star: Ormer Mayfair 🎉

⭐️A newly awarded Michelin star restaurant located in the prestigious Flemings Hotel in Mayfair. ⭐️Reservations are a breeze with few people booking in advance. ⭐️Originally, I had a reservation for Saturday, but later found out that the shorter menu at £79 is only available on weekdays. I wasn't willing to spend an extra £35 for a shrimp and dessert, so I changed the date. ⭐️79/5 course: Modern French cuisine with a decent amount of carbs and calories. ⭐️The sour meat jelly is both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. ⭐️The main dish, the lamb, is the best I've had since La Gavroche closed down. It's incredibly tender with a crispy skin. ⭐️The wine list is thick and includes Japanese wines, which earns extra points from me. Since there weren't many people, the service was fast, and I finished the entire set in 80 minutes alone. The wealthy Saudi ladies across from me were enjoying their wine under the sommelier's recommendations. Then it suddenly dawned on me: You guys still drink when you go abroad, huh? (Saudi Arabia is dry) ⭐️Overall, Flemings, a small luxury hotel of the world, is quite comfortable.
