3 Best Meals on Hawaii's Big Island (Budget-Friendly Edition) π°
We all know Hawaii is expensive β some even joke it's the "Guizhou of the U.S." π And among the islands, the Big Island feels especially rustic when it comes to food options. But guess what? I still managed to find three amazing and affordable meals that totally hit the spot! π§π» About my taste: Iβve got a strong Chinese stomach, and lately, I canβt do raw foods. So here are my top picks β all cooked, comforting, and seriously satisfying: π TK Noodle & Hot Pot π This place was the highlight of my whole Hawaii food journey! Their beef ribs are a must-order β so tender and flavorful, Iβd say they rival what Iβve had back in China. We even added an extra portion! π€€ The Tom Yum soup was also delicious, though a tiny bit on the salty side β still totally worth it. π Hilo DoubleTree by Hilton β Poolside Restaurant π¨ We stayed in Hilo and didnβt expect much from a hotel restaurantβ¦ but wow, were we surprised! I tried their chicken pot pie β and it was honestly the best "white people food" Iβve had this trip π₯§ Creamy, flaky, and packed with flavor. Perfect after a swim! π Outrigger Kona Resort β Restaurant π Staying in Kona, we struggled to find good food nearby. Ended up eating at the hotel restaurant β and no regrets! I ordered a burger, but the real star was the French fries β crispy, perfectly salted, absolutely addictive! They fueled me up for a night of stargazing β¨π A delicious calorie boost I badly needed! #BigIslandEats #HawaiiOnABudget #BigIslandFood #HawaiiTravel
